U.S. Virgin Islands – The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands invites individuals and groups from all sectors to join in collaborative community programs to be held December 5th and 6th, on St. Thomas and St. Croix, respectively.  The KIDS COUNT Community Forums will release and highlight data collected for the 2015 KIDS COUNT Data Book, By the Numbers: Where Do We Stand?  The interactive format will engage participants in discussing the findings and ways to address the challenges and opportunities facing the Territory’s children and families.

Each year, CFVI produces the KIDS COUNT Data Book documenting available statistics reflecting child well-being in the Virgin Islands.  Its purpose is to promote dialogue on children’s issues and to stimulate community response to improve the health, safety, and economic status of VI children, from birth to age 18.  The Data Book is a valuable tool to help prompt responses to the challenges facing our community – through community awareness and public policy, in particular.
The first forum will be held Monday, December 5th on St. Thomas at the University of the Virgin Islands Administration & Conference Center, 1st Floor Conference Room, with registration/lunch beginning at 12:30pm. The second forum will be held Tuesday, December 6th on St. Croix at the Cardiac Center of the Juan F. Luis Hospital, with registration/breakfast beginning at 9:00am. Pre registration/RSVP is encouraged: please visit  https://t.co/l42AWWkDPt  or email ascarbriel@cfvi.net.
Data from the 2014 Report as well as years prior, are also available online at
